We went to Suvarnabhumi airport (that has to be pronounced Sawanapoom airport if you ask a Thai taxi driver to drive you there) last month since my parents were going back to Europe. It gave us the occasion to take a few pictures of the airport  with the Canon 450D and the wide-angle lens Canon EFS 10-22mm. I like the airport better in the evening than during the day actually. I like the blue lightning.

The first picture is of the parking lot. It is a separate building in front of the airport. So be prepared to walk quite a bit if you go there with your own car.

And on the way to the gate, departure level, arrival level is one floor down as can be seen with all the Toyota Camry “limousines” waiting for you on the bottom right side of the picture.  At about triple the price than the Toyota Corolla you will get if you take a taxi. Is the Toyota Camry that good?

And the glass windows of the airport, no front wall actually, only windows, nice.

And as can be seen on the picture above, the escalators are pretty long
